I wrote this to help those that can actually speak Japanese but have little knowledge in the means of making their computer let them type it in FFXI. In order to use it, Japanese language support must be installed, and Japanese must be selected as the default non-unicode language in Windows. This allows you to type text in Japanese. ![]() IME implements the Japanese Input Method Editor in FFXI.
